Being an Idiot is Not So Bad . . . Until Others Start to Notice.
I just realized I had a typo on the cover letter I've been sending out. I've been customizing each cover letter, and I've caught typos after the fact before, but this typo was on the final paragraph, which has basically been the same for everyone. Gggghaaaarrrr. Back to square one I guess. I wouldn't feel so bad, except when you're applying for jobs teaching English (or otherwise claiming to be an English expert) those sorts of typos are bad news.
Well, at least I know why I haven't been getting many responses lately.
