It's funny how things change. I remember watching Arachnaphobia when I was younger (12? 10?) and being totally freaked out. Still sometimes when I get in the shower I swear I can feel something crawling on me.
So when we were looking for a scary movie that The Wife can handle, I thought that would be a great movie. We watched it tonight, and you know . . . it's just not scary. At the end, when there's a lot of spiders, it's kind of nasty, but I wouldn't call it frightening at all anymore. I guess getting older really does change things.
Of course, The Wife still jumped a few times. So that was fun.
